Charter terms and conditions, payment terms, safety and regulations.
Hirers, booking parties and customers are assumed to have thoroughly read, accepted and understood these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are valid for events arranged with Charm Charter AB.Cancellations
Boat hire:A charge of 50% of the yacht hire price will be payable for cancellations made 30-15 days before the event date. A charge of 100% of the yacht hire price will be payable for cancellations made 15 days or less before the event date.
Food and drink:
All catering on board is undertaken by the shipping company. Bringing your own food and drink is not permitted. All food ordered will become payable for cancellations made 5 days or less before the event. A charge of 450 kr per booked guest will be payable if no catering order has been made. Force majeure
In the event of war, government regulation, strike, blockade, lockout or other industrial action, fire, vessel breakdown, accident or other situation outside the shipping company’s control, the company shall have the right to cancel or in some other way reorganise the trip ordered. Safety
The captain has the right with immediate effect to wholly or partially cancel the charter, evict persons who are deemed to be a danger to themselves, fellow passengers or crew or in some other way deemed to be jeopardising the safety and general order on board. Compensation or repayment shall not be payable nor any claim made for such if we are forced to take action as per the above. Businesses, companies or private persons who have hired the vessel will be charged any extra costs incurred in the event of forced action. The captain has the right to deviate from the planned route for reasons of safety and maritime regulations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations without giving rise to any claim for compensation by the hirer/booking party or customer.
All passengers and third parties are insured against accidents on board through Charm Charter AB’s insurance with GARD Services AS.
Maximum compensation: USD 50 million per incident.
General
In the event of damage on board, the hirer/booking party responsible shall be liable to pay damages. Guests participate in activities during the charter wholly at their own risk. In connection with the charter, hirer/booking party responsible shall be responsible and charged fully for any damage incurred, any necessary extraordinary cleaning, reconditioning, and cleaning of toilets resulting from prohibited waste or incorrect use caused by guests on board.
